Our Liverpool lettings team attended the Liverpool Student Homes (LSH) Housing Fair on 28th November.
LSH is the only official university service for private student accommodation and housing for Liverpool John Moores University, University of Liverpool, Liverpool Hope University and the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. They advertise the widest range of high quality, affordable student accommodation in the city.
The Housing Fair gave students across the city the opportunity to meet approximately 40 LSH registered Liverpool student letting agents and landlords (of which Mistoria are one!) and find details of individual rooms and properties, of all types and sizes, available to rent for the 2019/20 academic year, within the main student areas of Liverpool.
The event, at Liverpool Guild of Students, was very well attended, and for Mistoria’s Liverpool lettings team, the event was a real success! We had over 100 applicants on the day who left their details with us so we could send over details of all of our properties. This equates to 100 potential rooms rented for next year!
A number of property viewings were also booked which will take place over the next few weeks in the run up to the Christmas break. Again,if successful this could lead to many rooms and properties being secured for the 2019/20 academic year.
No student fair would be complete without some freebies and giveaways. The first 50 applicants to attend our stall were given vouchers for 25% off fees and we also gave out yummy cupcakes and sweets to keep sugar levels up and smiles on faces!
